So if I have a Windows 2008 64-bit machine, I can not manage its virus scanner policies through ePo? I guess what I asking is are you talking about installing the server on Win2k8 64-bit or are you talking about the agent (or both)?
I am talking about the Epolicy Orchestrator server, not the Client Management Agent. CMA agent 4.0 does support Windows Server 2008 x64. CMA 4.0 is supported on following Windows Operating Systems.
